Orthopaedic Surgeon

Dr Amy Touzell, FRACS(ortho)

Dr Amy Touzell is a fully qualified, Australian trained orthopaedic surgeon who has recently moved to the Mornington Peninsula. She treats all conditions of the lower limb and has a special interest in arthroscopic hindfoot surgery.

Tom McKenzie

Tom, a dedicated podiatrist with 12 years of experience in Mornington and Frankston, brings a wealth of expertise, particularly in treating sports-related foot and ankle injuries. His passion lies in lower limb injury management and point-of-care ultrasound assessment. Offering specialized care, Tom collaborates closely with local podiatrists to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Endorsed to prescribe scheduled medicines, he goes above and beyond to provide comprehensive treatment.

Despite a torn Achilles ending his football career, Tom stays active through swimming, running, and hitting the mountain bike trails at Red Hill on weekends.

Physiotherapist

James Gasper

James, a seasoned physiotherapist, graduated with honors from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh in 2004. With over 15 years of experience in Musculoskeletal practice across Scotland, New Zealand, and Australia, he has worked in both public and private sectors.

James has served as the youth team physio at Hibernian Football Club and contributed to the medical team at Cardrona and SnowPark ski fields. Since 2009, he's been practicing on the Mornington Peninsula while also earning his Masters in Manual Therapy from the University of Western Australia.

Currently, James is a director and part owner of South Coast Physiotherapy in Tootgarook. Beyond work, he enjoys family life on a small hobby farm and occasionally conquers the Red Hill mountain bike trails.

Kate, a seasoned medical secretary with over a decade of experience in private practice across the Mornington Peninsula, played a vital role in establishing South East Orthopaedics. Committed to delivering top-notch orthopaedic care to the community, Kate and her team are your go-to for billing inquiries and any questions regarding appointments or surgeries.
